Booking

Thank you for your interest in Little Ness Village Hall. Your booking fee includes use of both the inside and outside space, including use of tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery. The cost of basic heating, lighting and water are also included in the fee, but for high power usage we reserve the right to charge as used. We ask that you leave the hall, furnishings and equipment in a clean and tidy condition and that heating, lighting, hot water and cold water are turned off when you leave. Please note that any damage or breakages will be chargeable. Rubbish bags are provided, but we ask you remove all rubbish from the premises for disposal as the hall has no refuse collection service.

The hall will accommodate 70 people seated and 100 standing. In consideration of our neighbours, we ask that for evening events, last orders are called at 11.30 so that the hall is vacated by midnight. We can usually provide you with access to the hall an hour before and after your event to allow you to set up and/or clear up.

The space inside and outside the hall can be enhanced by using a marquee, should you wish to do so, please let us know when booking.

Please note that events involving sale of alcohol and musical entertainment require the appropriate license. Little Ness Village Hall Committee takes no responsibility for licensing of private events. Please make sure you obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) via Shropshire Council for your event. These need to be applied for at least 10 working days prior to the event.

Hire Charges and Payment Details

Full Payment in advance is requested. Cancellations are fully refundable unless the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the proposed event and the event is not rescheduled.

A £20 Returnable Deposit may be required for some events.
